About Satellite Finder
Satellite tracking, observation planning, and space knowledge.
On the website
Explore satellite positions and orbits on a globe or map, select categories, search for targets, and calculate passes for your location. The encyclopedia shares its knowledge library with the app.
Website and app
The website is suited to browsing, reading, and planning on a larger screen. Its AR tab is a draggable sky view; the app offers a mobile AR experience. Browser favorites and notes are stored locally and do not automatically sync with the app.
Data and calculations
Your browser calculates positions and passes locally from orbit data. Cached resources reduce repeat downloads. Public orbit data and predictions may be delayed or inaccurate.
